Presidents Message

During our last general meeting we held a discussion on which candidates the C.O.A. would be endorsing in the upcoming elections.

Following this discussion the membership voted unanimously to endorse the following candidates for public office:

Long Beach City Council                           Nassau County Legislator

Thomas R. Sofield, Jr.                                 Denise Ford

Mona Goodman

Marvin Weiss

After careful and deliberate consideration, the membership concluded that these were the right individuals to receive our endorsement.  The C.O.A. believes that their election would be in the best interest of the membership and the community we serve.

These candidates have continued to make public safety and police services a priority, keeping the streets safe in the city in which we live and work.

I encourage you, your family and your friends to vote on November 8^th for the candidates the C.O.A. has endorsed.  We believe it is in all of our best interests.
