Our Mission:
The mission of the Long Beach C.O.A is to promote, foster and advance, in every lawful manner, the common interests and goals of those engaged in police services that hold positions of command within the Long Beach Police Department. The C.O.A. works to further aid in the progress and development of police services and to enhance the knowledge, experience and techniques of the individuals providing these services. The C.O.A. conducts meetings, discussions and forums in an effort to foster the development and establishment of high professional police standards. The C.O.A. encourages the professional development and ethical practices of its members, in word and deed, by all available means and methods. The C.O.A. strives to continually improve the Long Beach Police Department. and provide the public with the best possible police services.The C.O.A. works to promote the general welfare of its members in order to develop and promote a friendly and benevolent spirit among all the members of the Association and those of the Long Beach Police Department.
